Facility Improvement
In addition to focusing on academic successes inside our classrooms, NVUSD regularly examines the state of our school facilities. Nearly all of our schools are 60 years old and in need of repair. NVUSD recently used state matching funds to make interior facility repairs and improvements at Alta Heights Elementary School. Although these funds are not nearly enough to fund all the facility improvement needs across 27 schools, it is a start. NVUSD remains committed to improving its schools for students.
