Measure A2 Projects

In December 2022, voters approved a $25 million bond to fund school facility improvements. General obligation bonds such as Measure A2 are used to fund projects specific to facilities.  Bond funds cannot be used to pay for teachers or administrative salaries.

Project Progress to Date

Measure A2 Implementation Plan:

Donaldson Way Elementary
New Multipurpose Room (MPR)
Building of MPR, movement of existing structures to accommodate new MPR, conversion of existing MPR to library, improvements to limited outdoor spaces, and some pavement work.
Canyon Oaks Elementary
Campus Modernization
HVAC Units, outdoor learning space, library furnishings and roofing evaluations.
American Canyon Middle School
Campus Modernization
HVAC units, roofing (in needed areas), track replacement.
American Canyon High School
Campus Modernization
Exterior paint, track replacement, furniture for a STEM classroom.
Technology Improvements
Technology Safety Related Projects
Public address system replacements at DW, CO, ACMS, ACHS and potential security camera upgrade if budget allows.
