Solar panels are being installed partially through the A2 bond (for American Canyon) and also other district funding sources. Not only is solar power an environmentally friendly option, it also offers our district a great financial benefit. Solar systems can be installed with no upfront capital investment, while returning annual savings from lower utility bills which can go back into our budget to benefit schools and students. NVUSD already uses solar power and is continuing that work across the district. Currently we have installed, or are actively installing solar at the following locations: Browns Valley TK-8, Canyon Oaks Elementary, Donaldson Way Elementary, McPherson Elementary, Napa Junction Elementary, Northwood Elementary, NVLA, Pueblo Vista Elementary, Shearer TK-8, Snow Elementary, Unidos MIddle School, Vichy Elementary, Willow Elementary, Memorial Stadium at Napa High and the district offices.
