Updates
June 2025 Update
Architects and contractors were hired and approved for exterior modifications at several schools and construction has already begun at the following school sites:
- McPherson Elementary School– 2670 Yajome Street
- Pueblo Vista Elementary School – 1600 Barbara Rd.
- Phillips Magnet Elementary School – 1210 Shetler Ave
- Vichy Elementary School – 3261 Vichy Ave.
- West Park Elementary School – 2315 West Park Ave
- Shearer Magnet TK-8th School – 1590 Elm St.
- Browns Valley TK-8th School – 1001 Buhman Avenue
- Silverado Middle School – 1133 Coombsville Rd.
Expect to see job trailers, safety fencing, large equipment, and lots of hard hats! To ensure the safety of the entire community, the campus at these schools will be closed to all visitors from June 9 to August 8.
As outlined in the bond measure, work includes crucial roof repair/replacement, updated HVAC systems, and fresh exterior paint.
