College & Career Readiness

The Napa Valley Unified School District is dedicated to ensuring every student graduates with the skills, experiences, and confidence needed to succeed in their chosen path after high school. This College and Career Readiness hub serves as a comprehensive resource for students and families to navigate the full spectrum of post-secondary opportunities—from exploring career clusters and internships to applying for college and financial aid.

Central to this work is our Career Technical Education (CTE) program, which offers students hands-on, real-world experience within specific industry pathways at each high school. CTE students engage directly with local industry partners through job shadows and workplace tours, using career-specific equipment to prepare for high-demand fields. Importantly, these courses are designed for everyone; they require no prior knowledge, fulfill graduation and UC A-G requirements, and offer opportunities to earn college credit and industry-aligned certificates. Whether you are a 9th grader beginning to plan your journey or a senior finalized your next steps, this site provides the tools, scholarship bulletins, and expert guidance to support your transition into the future.
