Will transportation be available? 

Yes, transportation will be available for students. Our transportation team is excited to welcome your students back.

Students must be registered for bus service before riding the bus. If your student was eligible for bus service last year and registered, we sent a ParentSquare Post inviting you to register in July. Please follow the directions in that message to complete registration as soon as possible. If you did not receive that ParentSquare Post, please visit our transportation website to learn more about areas and schools elgible for bus service this year. If you have further questions, please contact the Transportation Department at (707) 253-3556.

Will aftercare be provided at elementary sites? 

NVUSD collaborates with participating schools, governmental agencies, community organizations, and, if appropriate, the private sector, to provide before- and/or after-school enrichment programs that support the regular education program and provide safe alternatives for students.

All staff who directly supervise students possess appropriate knowledge and experience and receive ongoing training. In addition to academic and enrichment elements, the program may include support services that promote student health and well-being.

Each year, all families are required to confirm and update emergency contact information and review district policies including the acceptable use policy, media release form, etc. through our data confirmation process. This paperless process is completed online via the Aeries Parent Portal and will open in August 2025.
