Welcome Back NVUSD Students and Community 2024-2025

NOSH has had a busy summer planning our new school year menus! As always, we are eager to welcome back our favorite customers and serve them healthy, tasty food with a smile.

All district students are welcome to have one breakfast and one lunch a day at no charge. That’s right, California continues to offer meals to students at no charge under the Universal Meals Program legislation. All of the schools have breakfast and lunch served daily, even on minimum days.

This year our district will operate entirely under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This provision helps relieve some administrative work by eliminating the need to collect Free and Reduced Meal Applications. If families would like a letter to apply for benefits such as discounted internet or free AP testing, please reach out to our office, and we can still provide you with a letter if you qualify for those discounts.

• Our delicious scratch-made french toast casserole, arroz con pollo, cheese lasagna, BBQ ribs, pozole, and tomato soup!

• Local milk from Clover and Straus Creamery
• Our hyper-local partnerships with Toasted Bagels and West Won Bakery.
• Local, grass fed ground beef and beef burger patties from Cream Co Meats
• Salad bars stocked with seasonal items grown here in California! Keep an eye out for our Harvest of the Month salad bar feature, noted on the menu each month.
