Gratitude and Thanksgiving
Dear NVUSD Families,
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, I want to express my gratitude for our students, staff, and families. Together, we are building a positive and supportive learning environment for all. Such an environment is essential as we strive to support our students in becoming confident, compassionate, adaptable adults who are well-prepared for life and become inspiring advocates for themselves and their community.
I’ve witnessed our staff’s dedication to developing student agency and creating a culture of kindness, joy, and celebration at all our schools. I also have immense gratitude for our parents, who have shared their hopes, fears, and dreams for their children's educational future during our Superintendent Coffees, school site visits, and via email. As an educator, whenever I come into close contact with our parents and students it reminds me why I do this work. Thank you for your partnership. I hope you have a restful and rejuvenating Thanksgiving break, filled with joy, gratitude, and time with loved ones.
With gratitude,
