Happy Holidays!

Dear NVUSD Community,

As 2024 comes to a close, I’m filled with optimism for the future of our district. We’ve made significant strides towards achieving our 2024-2029 Strategic Plan, which will guide us in realizing Vision 2040.

A key focus this year has been on enhancing instruction. Our Instructional Leadership Team has been hard at work, observing classrooms and discussing ways to improve student learning and support our teachers. The Team is exploring research-based instructional frameworks to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across our system. We are grateful for the important work our staff do each day to support student learning and achievement. We remain committed to retaining our talented educators by continuing to invest in professional development and in building a supportive work environment.

Another key focus has been on ensuring that we have funding in place to support safe and modern learning facilities. We are pleased that Measure A2 in American Canyon and Measure B in Napa will help us do just that. We are thankful the voters in Napa Valley saw the value in ensuring our students and staff have access to safe and modern learning facilities. A comprehensive list of Measure A2 projects, organized by school site, is available on our website. In the new year, we will also launch a new Measure B Projects page that will include an overview of what’s to come. For now, view the Measure B work expected at each school site here. 

As you can see, NVUSD is poised for a bright future. A huge thank you to those who make it possible - our staff, students, volunteers, parents, and community partners and leaders. We are thrilled to continue the important work of providing the education and educational facilities our students deserve. We remain committed to our vision of developing graduates who are confident, compassionate, adaptable adults who are well-prepared for life and become inspiring advocates for themselves and their community.
