2025 Graduate Mia Ambrosio-Martinez

NVUSD

Mia’s academic path reflects NVUSD’s commitment to rigorous, real-world learning. She began college coursework as a freshman, thanks to her involvement in the Napa Valley Youth Symphony. Her love for the violin—sparked in kindergarten—has led her to play across the globe, including Carnegie Hall. This year, she expanded her musical reach by transferring to Napa High’s orchestra, supported by dedicated New Tech staff who helped her navigate the process.

A leader and changemaker, Mia has served as both ASB and Key Club President, organizing community service, fundraising for pediatric trauma, and building strong student-admin connections by spending a lot of her time in the New Tech front office. Mentors like VP Mr. Biggs and teacher Gladys Hernandez have provided unwavering support, helping her grow into the compassionate, confident leader she is today.

After graduation, Mia will take a gap year to travel and work—including taking a phlebotomy course. Inspired by shadowing a medical lab technician, she plans to pursue a career that makes a difference. “I want my work to have a positive impact on my community,” she says—a reflection of the values her parents instilled in her.

From Vienna to the front office at New Tech, Mia embodies the NVUSD Graduate Portrait: college and career ready, community-minded, and future-focused. We can’t wait to see where she goes next.
