Perseverance Honored: NVUSD Students Celebrate Success at Every Student Succeeding Ceremony
On Thursday, April 18, the Association of Napa County Administrators (ANCSA) celebrated outstanding students from across Napa County, including many from the 26 schools of the Napa Valley Unified School District. The Every Student Succeeding ceremony opened with uplifting speeches from NVUSD Superintendent Rosanna Mucetti and County Superintendent Barbara Nemko. They both commended the students for their incredible perseverance and achievements, highlighting how they’ve overcome various challenges.
During the event, each school had the chance to honor its own standout students, applauding their improvements in areas like academics and attendance, as well as their exemplary character. The high point of the ceremony was when a representative from Congressman Mike Thompson’s office gave each of these hardworking students Congressional recognition. This special acknowledgment celebrated their dedication and hard work, underlining the strong support they have from their schools and community. The ceremony was a true showcase of encouragement and community pride, honoring these inspiring students. Enjoy a snapshot of the winners on our Facebook page.
