The 2024-2025 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the LCAP Federal Addendum will be presented to the Napa Valley Unified School District Board of Education for a Public Hearing at the Board Meeting on June 6, 2024.  The LCAP is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for local educational agencies (LEAs) to share their stories of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet their local needs. The components of the LCAP for 2024-2025 are as follows:

Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) Budget Overview for Parents

2023-2024 LCAP Annual Update

2024-2025 LCAP:

  • Plan Summary
  • Engaging Educational Partners
  • Goals and Actions
  • Increased or Improved Services for Foster Youth, English Learners, and Low-income students
  • Action Tables
  • Instructions

Within California, in addition to the LCAP, LEAs that apply for Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) funds are required to complete the LCAP Federal Addendum, and the Consolidated Application (ConApp). The LCAP, in conjunction with the Addendum and the ConApp, serves to meet the ESSA LEA Plan requirement.

This meeting will be live-streamed and recorded via the NVUSD YouTube Channel linked here: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/92442664987
