2024 Graduate Taylor Webster

NVUSD

Napa High School Senior Taylor Webster

Taylor’s advice for future NVUSD graduates: “Do not fear failure or uncertainty - they may lead you to do what you were meant to do all along.”

We are thrilled to introduce Taylor Webster, a proud graduate of Napa High School. Taylor has demonstrated a can-do attitude and a remarkable willingness to try new things throughout her time in NVUSD, excelling in all her courses and specifically in the arts.

Napa High School Teacher Kristi Crickmore agrees, sharing, “Taylor is a highly motivated and talented student, taking every opportunity given. Taylor has a passion for art that has been evident in her works' amount of captured detail. Challenge her and she surpasses your vision. Taylor’s motivation and drive also reach beyond just artistic talent. She currently has three jobs and recently completed the training to pilot small aircraft.”

Taylor's dedication to her art culminated in her winning the prestigious Congressional Art Competition, with her artwork set to be displayed in the United States Capitol. This achievement is a testament to her exceptional skill and creativity. You can learn more about her award and see some of her art on Congressman Mike Thompson's website.

When asked about her future. Taylor shared her love for aviation stating, “There is no other place I would rather be than in the air.” In fact, during a summer aviation program at Napa Airport, she was given the opportunity to learn to fly, even allowed to “take off” in a red Mooney. Her excitement around aviation continued and, recognizing that, her high school counselor Mrs. Lopez-Soto identified the aviation program at Pacific Union College as a potential next step. Taylor applied and will attend in the Fall of 2024 to pursue her dream of being a woman aviator.

“Taylor is inspirational in work ethic and naturally humble, " continued Ms. Crickmore. “I feel like Taylor is just getting started and has great potential for whatever avenue she pursues.”

We congratulate Taylor on her accomplishments and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Her story is a testament to her hard work and the support and guidance of her family and teachers.

Congratulations, Taylor!
