Welcome to the Fall Sports Season: Important Stadium Guidelines for Middle School Families

Dear NVUSD Middle School Families,

As the fall sports season begins, we want to ensure all our students and families have a safe, fun, and positive experience when attending athletic events at Memorial Stadium and Wolf Den Stadium.

Please review the following entry guidelines, stadium rules, and expectations with your middle school student before attending any games this school year.

ENTRY & SUPERVISION REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Student ID Required: Students must present a current, physical school ID card at the gate to enter. Digital photos of IDs on cell phones will not be accepted. (This applies to all local middle school students).
• Adult Supervision Required: All middle school students must be accompanied by a ticket-paying adult (parent or guardian).
• Adults Must Remain Present & Accompany Students: Designated adults must stay at the game for the entire event. Unsupervised drop-offs or wandering are strictly prohibited.
• Note for Students Awaiting Physical IDs and Elementary School Students: If your middle school student has not yet received their physical student ID card, they may still enter when accompanied by a ticket-paying adult. However, the accompanying adult must remain with the student at all times while inside the stadium (including visits to the concession stand and restrooms).
• No Re-Entry: Tickets allow entry one time only. Once a student exits the stadium, they will not be allowed back in.
• Bags: All bags, including clear bags, are subject to inspection and must meet the guidelines outlined in the section titled Bag Policy and Allowed Items below. 

STADIUM EXPECTATIONS & BEHAVIOR

• Stay in Your Seat: Spectators are expected to sit in the bleachers to watch the game. Playing, running, or loitering on the promenades, walkways, or under the bleachers is not permitted.
  • Please note: Students who refuse to remain seated after receiving a warning will be asked to leave the stadium.
• Stay Off the Field/Track: No unauthorized students are permitted on the field or track at any time before, during, or after the game.
• Positive Sportsmanship: Cheer for our athletes, not against the opposing team. Unsportsmanlike yelling, foul language, or taunting players, cheerleaders, or officials will result in immediate removal.
• Core Values: We expect all students to be Safe, Respectful, Responsible, and Kind.
• Consequences: Failure to follow stadium guidelines may result in removal from the game, loss of attendance privileges for future athletic events, school disciplinary action, or law enforcement involvement.

BAG POLICY & ALLOWED ITEMS

Prohibited Items: Please review the prohibited items list before arriving at the stadium. Prohibited items will not be permitted inside the venue, and event staff cannot make exceptions at the gate. If you arrive with a prohibited item, you will need to return it to your vehicle or dispose of it before entry will be permitted. Staff will not hold, store, safeguard, or assume responsibility for personal belongings or prohibited items. Please plan ahead and share this information with family and friends attending the event.

We also ask that all attendees remain respectful toward entry and security staff who are responsible for enforcing these safety requirements. Individuals who refuse to comply with event safety procedures or engage in disruptive, threatening, or unsafe behavior may be denied entry or asked to leave the event.
