NVUSD’s annual Student Data Confirmation opened on August 6, 2026. All families must update emergency contacts and review important district policies, including the Acceptable Use Policy and media release form, using the Aeries Parent Portal.

Following a highly successful Measure B Phase I, which delivered major roofing and climate control enhancements under budget, Phase II has made significant progress over the summer months. This summer, improvements were completed at 14 NVUSD campuses with projects ranging from exterior painting and HVAC and roof replacements to parking lot paving. The majority of these upgrades were funded through Measure B.

Mark your calendars! NVUSD and the STARS College Network are hosting a College Access Symposium on September 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Napa High School for all 9th–12th grade students and families. Register today! Join representatives from leading universities for a college fair and targeted workshops, including application help for UC, CSU, and Common App, essay writing tips, financial aid guidance, and college search advice.

This event aligns directly with Strategy 2 of our Strategic Plan, building systems for career-aligned, real-world learning and ensuring every student has equitable access to post-secondary success.

Moody’s Ratings has upgraded the Napa Valley Unified School District’s issuer rating from A1 to Aa3, with a positive outlook. The credit rating agency also upgraded NVUSD’s general obligation unlimited tax (GOULT) bonds to Aa2, highlighting five years of deliberate financial stabilization, strong reserve levels, and proactive management and governance.  

“Higher credit ratings translate into lower interest costs and real savings for the taxpayer,” shared NVUSD Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operational Services Rob Mangewala.

Every dollar counts toward making higher education accessible. If you have already drafted college essays, look for similar prompts across scholarship applications to save time. Just remember to revise your work so it directly answers each specific question.

Need help using your child’s Chromebook or accessing school tools online? Napa Valley Adult Education is offering free technology support classes for parents, especially for families whose first language isn’t English.

Classes are held at sites across NVUSD. Topics include using Chromebooks, school websites, portals, online forms, and digital safety. Through this program we hope to make all families feel connected and empowered.

NVUSD Food Services, also known as Napa’s Operative for School Food Health (NOSH), proudly serves breakfast and lunch at every NVUSD school—every day, regardless of the bell schedule. All students may enjoy one breakfast and one lunch daily at no charge, thanks to California’s Universal Meals Program. Last year alone, NOSH served 1,379,675 Lunches & 1,136,825 Breakfasts!
