📖 English Language Arts (ELA)

Our ELA curriculum is built around foundational literacy skills. At the elementary level, our teachers use the Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) framework to ensure every student develops a strong "science of reading" foundation.

  • Focus Areas: In the first two trimesters, we focus deeply on a reduced number of priority standards to ensure thorough mastery.

  • Growth Tracking: Writing and reading progress is reported through a learning progression, adding more standards as the year continues.
