High School Grading & Progress Reports
High school academic performance is measured on a semester basis, with the school year divided into two main terms (Fall and Spring).
-
Frequent Feedback: To ensure students and families have a clear understanding of academic standing, progress reports are issued twice each semester (approximately every six weeks). These serve as vital "check-ins" to address any challenges before final semester grades are recorded on permanent transcripts.
-
Priority Standards: Our assessment model focuses on Priority Standards. This means that within each subject area—from Math to History—students are assessed on their mastery of the most critical knowledge and skills. This targeted approach ensures that every student is gaining the specific competencies required for "A-G" college eligibility and career success.
-
Real-Time Monitoring: Families are encouraged to use the Aeries Parent Portal to monitor assignment completion and grades in real-time, fostering a partnership between home and school that supports student success.
