Trustee Robin Jankiewicz is a dedicated advocate for public education and believes that schools are the backbone of the communities they serve. With nearly two decades of experience in finance and public, private, and independent school board service, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to continuous improvement to her role at the Napa Valley Unified School District.

Trustee Jankiewicz represents Napa County on the California School Board Association Delegate Assembly where she plays a crucial role in shaping education policy and advocating for stronger federal funding. She also shares her expertise with organizations like the Yale Fellowship and various educational think tanks. She has participated in the California School Board Association’s Coast-to-Coast meetings in Washington D.C. to advocate for stronger federal support for public schools.

During her last seven years on the NVUSD Board of Education, she has demonstrated exceptional financial stewardship by supporting efforts to increase the district's cash reserves from three percent to nearly 10 percent, providing a more stable financial foundation. This financial strength has enabled the district to invest in students by expanding curricular offerings and enrichment opportunities.

She also volunteers for education-related fundraising in Napa Valley and sits on numerous Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) committees, site councils, and advisory boards. Except for her presidential year (2022), she has been a member of four NVUSD committees per year, including Finance, Facilities, and Technology. Trustee Jankiewicz received her Masters in Governance from the California School Board Association and greatly enjoys all outdoor activities.
