Summer Programs

The NVUSD Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P), in collaboration with trusted partners, is thrilled to offer engaging full-day learning opportunities this summer for students from transitional kindergarten to rising 5th grade, as well as middle and high school students, to boost their academic, social, and overall success through a variety of enrichment activities.

All ELO-P Summer programs are FREE for those that qualify according to the family circumstance criteria listed here: 

  • Free and reduced lunch eligibility
  • English Language Learners
  • Foster or Homeless Youth

If your family does not meet the criteria for free summer programming, there will be a sliding fee scale to support the cost.

Valdés Math is proud to offer our Summer Math Camp—Build Confidence, Conquer Challenges! Hosted on the Napa Valley College campus, this dynamic program empowers students to strengthen their math skills, develop problem-solving strategies, and grow as confident learners. Through engaging lessons, collaborative activities, and real-world math challenges, students will explore new ways to think critically and enjoy learning.

Open to upper elementary and middle school students (current 4th-8th graders) who are struggling with math. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily, with opportunities for extended day activities.

Designed to inspire innovation and learning, our courses provide real-world experiences that prepare students for both academic and personal success.

Join the Aim High Community this summer! Summer is a great time to meet new friends, explore new areas of interest, and make connections with inspiring teachers. Middle school students who attend Aim High's five-week program are encouraged to dream big. Students are given the time and space to try new things, which helps build a strong foundation for future success. We can't wait to meet you! The NCOE Cool School Summer Programs offer exciting, enriching experiences for elementary and middle school students through our COOL School and ACE programs in Napa and Sonoma counties. Made possible with the support of our partners, Cool School blends academic intervention, enrichment opportunities, and physical activity—all rooted in the 12 after school quality standards. It's a fun and supportive way for students to stay engaged and grow during the summer months!

NVUSD is excited to offer our TK/K Summer Camp, designed especially for our youngest learners! With the support of our dedicated staff and community partners, this engaging summer experience helps students build confidence, curiosity, and classroom readiness through hands-on learning, creative play, and social-emotional skill building. Campers will enjoy structured activities, enrichment opportunities, and plenty of movement and fun—all in a safe and welcoming environment.

Q. Is there a cost associated with the summer 2026 program? 

All ELO-P Summer programs are FREE for those that qualify according to the family circumstance criteria listed here: 

  • Free or reduced lunch eligible

If your family does not meet the criteria for free summer programming, there will be a sliding fee scale to support the cost. 


Q. What will my child do all day? 
The daily schedule will focus on academic intervention, physical education, and social and emotional development through hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities.

When will I know that my child has been accepted into the program?
You will be notified via email directly from your site provider beginning May 1, 2026.

Does my child need to attend 5 days a week for the entire 10-hour day? 
Your child will be registered for a 5-day week Monday-Friday full-day schedule, but attendance will not affect your child’s placement in the summer program.

Does my child need to bring lunch? 
No they do not. Meals will be provided. Children are welcome to pack snacks, but lunch and snacks will be offered. 

All programs will be closed for holiday observances on June 19 & July 4th.
