District English Language Advisory Committee

Each California public school district with 51 or more English learners must form a District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) unless the district designates for this purpose a subcommittee of an existing district-wide advisory committee.

Read below for more information about DELAC.

District English Language Learners Advisory Council

DELAC advises NVUSD on programs and services that support English learners. Comprised mostly of parents of English learners, DELAC helps shape goals, review procedures, and provide input on plans such as the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).

Napa Valley Unified School District

Individual School Site English Learners Advisory Committees (ELAC)

ELAC advises a school on programs and services that support English learners. Comprised mostly of parents of English learners, ELAC helps shape goals, review procedures, and provide input on plans such as the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), which supports the district goals identified in Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
